Ukko Works is a Finnish engineering workshop company that took its first steps in 1967. Previously operating under the name Potila and later known as Kiikoisten Konepaja, the company has long-standing expertise in steel construction.

We specialize in steel structures for railway and road infrastructure as well as power line structures. We also manufacture steel and support structures for construction needs.

We take care of our most important asset—our skilled workforce. Our personnel are highly professional, and pride in workmanship is reflected in everything we do.

We are continuously renewing and developing our operations. We take on new challenges boldly and find solutions that meet our customers’ needs. We are committed to quality, and our operations are certified to international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Our workshop is certified according to EN 1090-1 by Inspecta Sertifiointi Oy. The certification authorizes us to apply CE marking to steel structures and to manufacture according to execution classes EXC1 and EXC2.

We focus on Finnish work and northern quality. We are committed to paying our taxes in Finland and supporting the development of the Finnish welfare society. We employ 26 metal industry professionals and use Finnish subcontractors.

In all our operations, we act with respect for the environment. We use high-quality materials and avoid unnecessary transportation. Our goal is to leave a small carbon footprint and contribute to a better future for the next generations.
